Metal Wall Clocks

Well, Iam getting a metal bed frame and wood flooring but i have no idea whether to get wood or metal furniture!!!

Thanks, I’m getting a walnut colour flooring.

So i am 15 and I am sick of my room. Its making me feel drab. I have a big closet dark oak desk which i also use as a nightstand so i have my alarm clock and lamp and computer everything on it. I have a big bed and giant dresser with mirrors that are a light oak color. At the moment my walls are daisy yellow and i want something relaxing and fresh now… I dont have very good lighting in my room cause i dont have a fan/lighting fixture on my ceiling its kind of a side tall lamp like this:

I want a change… I want to have something new but my inspiration is really OFF…

I love fashion and makeup
I play volleyball
I do have anger issues i guess so i need a really relaxing area for myself
I love being girly but i am down to earth
favorite colors are blue, purple, and green.

i am 13 years old. my room is also going to count as a studio. so i will have a drum set,a guitar and a bass, and a mic system. so i want cool music/rock/metal/guitar room decorations and so on. i want the colors to be mostly black and red and maybe silver. any decorations for my room are accepted. thank you!

Every time I try to drill into the wall, I am hitting some metal. I use the stud finder but it is still metal. Then I tried a hollow section and then it was metal again.

Any idea how to drill into and securely hang shelves on this kind of wall?

My Fiance and I recently purchased our first home together, but I’m having serious trouble when it comes to decorating it. I have the kitchen, dinning room, and guest bedrooms taken care of, but I am completely stumped when it comes to decorating my living room and master bedroom. Both the living and the master are neutral colored, earth tones, with a beige/off-white carpet, so I was hoping to stay in the more neutral color pallet with accent pillows for color? I don’t like the really plushy look, and my Fiance and I both want a more modern/contemporary look/feel, but neither of us want the metal frames. I guess a sleek look? Young maybe? We don’t want our friends coming over feeling like they’ve walked into Grandma’s house. For our bedroom we really wanted a ‘zen’ theme. Simplistic, Asian-style, blacks with red accent maybe? We’ve an opening above the door leading from the master bedroom to the master bath that we’d like to play off of. (It looks like those arches at Japanese temples).

Any suggestions on how I can decorate these two rooms? Wall art, furniture, bedspreads, etc.

What type of furniture and wood type? i like pine, and mahogany. what metals? color schemes or any other neat ideas for decor do you have?
what type of kitchenware? (pots,cups,dishes?) load me up with ideas or examples

Im 13 years old (female) and my mom is letting me redo my bedroom.

I already decided that I want red and black to be the main colors of the room design. For the walls, i’m gonna do the black wall that cool chalkboard paint and for the red walls I’ll just do a solid bright red with random metallic patterns.

But I’m stumped on the rest. I have a small-ish bedroom… not the much space. Something like a 13′ by 10′ and the ceilings are only 8′ tall. I have a queen sized bed and a 52" round beanbag so that takes up a decent amount of space. (though I’m looking to replace the beanbag)

What I’m looking for: Any other colors that would look good with red and black, and really make the room sorta pop. Please, no pink. Im not the girly girl type… Any ideas on wall art; seating options to replace my beanbag; leather and studs are cool; anything with music! (I’m sort of obsessed with music and am really into rock or punk/metal)
